About the internship
Description
This young and fresh brand that started in 2013 in Lampung, Sumatra, is driven on improving the lives of the people at the bottom of the pyramid while preserving the world’s biodiversity. It was an ambitious goal but from that point on, they have never stopped doing the best to achieve it. The company aims to improve the livelihood of Indonesian cocoa farmers and increase environmental sustainability and improve land use in growing areas of Indonesia.
They also want to increase the profile of Indonesian cocoa and chocolate while contributing to the economic development of the country. The company does this not for attention and fame but because we know it is what the country and the cacao industry need to succeed. The chocolate factory has won multiple awards in the world’s most prestigious chocolate awards competition in the UK, making them the first Indonesian chocolate maker to win any award at this reputable annual competition. They will soon reopen their chocolate cafe in Bali for a full chocolate experience after closing for 2 years due to the pandemic.
