A Dream Come True

Interning in Bali has always been a dream of mine, and this opportunity has allowed me to merge my passion for marketing with the vibrant culture of Bali. As an undergraduate with a minor in brand communication and a GPA of 3.82, I’ve been actively involved in campus organizations since 2021, which has prepared me well for this role.

Day-to-Day Activities

My typical work week runs from Tuesday to Saturday, with flexible hours from 10 AM to 5 PM. This schedule allows me to balance work and leisure effectively. My daily tasks include administrative duties, designing posters, and managing the restaurant’s social media platforms, including Google Business, TripAdvisor, and Facebook.

Learning and Growth

This internship has been an enriching experience, both professionally and personally. I’ve learned to manage social media channels, create engaging content, and interact with customers online. Working under Emilia, my supervisor, and collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds has taught me the importance of tolerance and attention to detail, especially in the fast-paced F&B industry.

Practical Skills

I’ve honed various skills through this internship. My previous experience as a social media specialist laid a strong foundation, but this role has taken my abilities to a new level. I’ve gained proficiency in creating content plans, copywriting, designing marketing materials, and researching for corporate purposes. I’ve also improved my time management and organizational skills.

The Benefits of Real-World Experience

This internship has provided invaluable real-world experience, complementing the theoretical knowledge from my studies. I’ve faced real challenges, like managing customer feedback and ensuring quality control, which has taught me how to navigate and solve problems effectively. This hands-on experience is something I couldn’t have gained from textbooks alone.

Why I Love This Internship

The environment of the restaurant is incredibly supportive and friendly. The flexible work hours and the camaraderie among the team make it a joy to work here. The culture of Bali and the welcoming nature of the people have made my experience even more enriching. I’ve fallen in love with the island and the sense of family I’ve found here.

Bali in Three Words

If I had to describe Bali in three words, they would be: lovely, family, and amazing. These words encapsulate my experience and the lasting memories I’ve created during my internship.

I owe a great deal of my enriching experience to Bali Internships, whose comprehensive support and guidance made this opportunity possible. From assisting with the application process to offering valuable resources and advice, Bali Internships has been an instrumental part of my journey. Their dedication to creating meaningful internship experiences has allowed me to thrive and make the most of my valuable internship moment in Bali.
