About the internship
Established in 2007 as an environmental learning and conservation project. The foundation was created to stop land-based waste from getting into the oceans, and help create sustainable jobs to protect the livelihoods of coastal communities. The foundation's vision is to create a sustainable future for islands, oceans, and communities through healthy environmental practices and their mission is firmly committed to progress towards the millennium development goal, promoting gender equality and women empowerment. Through its education programs, the foundation provides education, and skills training programs and grassroots community assistance to alleviate poverty and ensure environmental sustainability. The foundation is currently in urgent need of interns to assist in research and development for the foundation’s up-cycling program (3D printing, plastic up-cycling, and glass up-cycling).
