Description
The marine restoration project from one of Indonesia's leading Greenfins members was created to address the urgent needs of the ocean. After years of overfishing and dynamite fishing, the village gave his collaboration and blessing. To repopulate the outer reefs of the bay, while other organizations concentrate their effort near the beach.
The organization's main focuses are direct impact through coral reef restoration, waste management along the coast (above and underwater), and working in close partnerships with other organizations in terms of education of the youth in sustainable waste management.
They are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about marine conservation and believe in the change one makes, can make a difference. The internship will provide hands-on experience in coral restoration techniques and research in partnership with a well-known coral conservation NGO.
