Years of Connection and Care

Over the years, we have received more and more requests from groups seeking something more substansial and meaningful in Bali; volunteering, cultural exchange, CSR projects, or simply a different way of traveling together. The inspiration grew even stronger after our recent cooperation with several volunteer group we receive this year , where we realized how resourceful and connected we truly are.

This is why Bali Internships now opens its doors to customized group inquiries. Group programs are a natural extension of what we’ve always done: connecting people to Bali in ways that feel authentic and lasting. Our long partnerships with communities, NGOs, and local organizations allow us to design journeys that are reliable, thoughtful, and rooted in trust.

The Journey We've Built in Bali

Time is the best measure of trust. For nearly two decades, Bali Internships has worked and partnered with professionals, local and international NGOs, schools, and companies across Indonesia. We have nurtured relationships that have grown from partnership into friendship, with many of our alumni returning year after year, some never leaving Bali at all. Our reputation rests not on consistency, experience, and the stories we’ve lived alongside our partners and participants. Families have been formed, friendships have lasted for years, and countless individuals carry their Bali experience as a turning point in their lives.

The Heart of the Experience

Our group programs are designed to be more than “giving back.” In fact, we believe participants often gain far more than they contribute in such a short time. The real value lies in:

  • Personal growth — pausing from daily routines, reconnecting with yourself, and seeing life from a different perspective.

  • Connection — strengthening bonds within your group while forming new relationships in Bali.

  • Cultural understanding — learning from communities, rituals, and traditions in ways that books and screens cannot offer.

  • Balance — combining purposeful engagement with moments of rest, wellness, and joy.

Every experience is carefully arranged, so groups don’t just pass through Bali, they feel it.

How We Shape The Group Experience

Each program is designed as a balance of community connection, cultural learning, and moments of adventure. Volunteer group may find themselves spending time in schools or children’s homes, meeting NGOs and sustainability projects, or joining workshops and temple visits that bring Balinese traditions to life. Moreover, adventure and wellness activities such as rafting and trekking to yoga, meditation, or a quiet spa day ensure the journey also brings energy and renewal. Reflection sessions are included to help participants pause and make sense of what they’ve experienced, turning daily activities into lasting insights.

Behind it all, comfort and safety are central. Accommodation, meals, and transport are arranged with care, supported by long-standing partners, English-speaking guides, and trusted medical assistance. For groups traveling far from home, these details ensure the journey flows smoothly, with space to focus on connection and growth.

Investing in the Experience

To give a sense of planning: most 7–10 day programs range between €750–1,100 / USD 800–1,200 per participant. For a group of 20 participants, this averages around €15,000–22,000 / USD 16,000–24,000 in total, depending on accommodation and activity choices.

This covers accommodation, daily transport, meals, guided activities, and full on-the-ground support. Larger groups often benefit from lower per-person costs, and every proposal is tailored to your group’s vision.

“Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life and travel leaves marks on you.” Anthony Bourdain

In Bali, those marks are guided by Tri Hita Karana the harmony between people, nature, and the divine. A group journey here isn’t about ticking off places, but about stepping into that balance: sharing meals, meeting communities, resting in nature, and finding time for reflection.

We hold the framework, the care, the safety, the rhythm but the heart of the journey is yours. Yours to carry, in the form of connection, renewal, and stories that will stay long after Bali.
