Bali Internships provide quality internship programs for every student who wants to get first-time working experience in a supportive environment. In this article, we will explore two of our local students, Joshella and Khelvano, about their internship period in one of the island's most prolific footwear companies.

Just like other aspiring students, Joshella and Khelvano wish to improve their skills by doing real-life work. They have mainly positive impressions during their internship period in Bali. Both were assigned to the same footwear company, but in an entirely different role. Hailing from Padang, West Sumatra, Khelvano is a 21 years old student who studies Electrical Engineering in Malaysia, while Joshella was born in Bali, but continues her Fashion Design study in Ciputra University.

Even though she speaks fluent Indonesian, Joshella struggles to find a good internship program in Bali. But that's before she discovered Bali Internships. Joshella also stated the importance of doing an internship in an international company; an experience which was provided to her by the Bali Internships. "You can have the opportunity to work with an international company, and also gain another perspective of working life in that international company," she said. As an intern, Shella was given a pretty impactful task. "They require me to research new materials that they want to use in new products," she said. "It really broadens my knowledge for my future, if maybe someday I want to create my own fashion product."

In tune with Shella, Khelvano also really enjoyed his internship period. He was particularly impressed by the attention given by Bali Internships to its students. "Bali Internships has a lot of programs, and they will help you find the suitable one," he said. "Bali Internships treated me well from the start. They picked me from the airport, and also provided a good place for living and daily transportation”

Khelvano also added that the footwear company where he and Shella work as interns is really supportive. "Sometimes, I get tough tasks, but they are willing to explain it well to me," he said. "Even though my background is engineering, I have interests in business and marketing, so I really enjoyed all the given task" As a Marketing intern, Khelvano main tasks are researching sustainability implementation, determining Indonesia's market growth, and also developing footwear and materials for future products. "One of the main things we did was trying to improve the sales during the pandemic," he said. Khelvano also gave a positive impression and invited all of fellow students to do their internship in Bali. Why? "Because you can be intern and doing holiday at the same time"
