Interning to Bali? Have You Got These Documents Prepared?
You wouldn’t want to miss any of these!
The Primal-Documents
Valid ID, Passport, and Visa are the holy trinity of interning abroad in Bali, you must have these in hand before arriving in Indonesia. The most common misunderstanding usually happens when it comes to Visa application. Using a placement mediator such as Bali Internships or if you want to go on your own, you must understand what needs to be prepared and paid. Everywhere in the world, visa application must be done individually back in your hometown or anywhere in the world where the Indonesian embassy or consulate exists. Of course in many countries you may consider using a private agency to assist your visa application should you are unavailable to travel due to medical condition or other force majeure.
Going back to what Bali Internships can offer to provide you as our intern-client, we are providing necessary and updated enough information such as visa information and guide, visa application steps, and most importantly drafting and preparing your invitation letter from your host company in Bali.

International Driver’s License
Getting around in Bali is easy when you are residing in the south part of the island, where online transportations such as Gojek or Grab are easy to access. It’s possible to get around easily and economically. However, riding a scooter may also be an option that you may want to consider if you are planning to stay longer than a month for your internship program. Besides its practicality, riding a scooter may also help you in saving transportation expenses. Before deciding what might work for you in Bali, make sure you are able to ride a scooter and possess a national driver’s license that can be later upgraded to an international one.
International Driver’s License can be made through the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in your home town, or you can also apply for it online!
