About the internship
Founded in Bali, Indonesia in 2006, this women fashion label started out producing yoga wear but it was not long before requests and demands took them one step further, into everyday wear. Their mantra is to combine simple colors and great fitting designs made from materials that are of outstanding quality. Besides, they have always been a socially and ethically responsible company. For them it is very important to know their staff, their faces and their families. This fashion label works hard to counteract the sweatshop mentality that is prevalent in Indonesia and they have their own policy which ensures that the staffs receive a fair wage, subsidized meals, after school child minding and that they and their families receive health benefits. This fashion label only uses materials supplied by companies whose production is not directly harmful to the environment. They spent a considerable time seeking out certified ECO companies and personally visiting them to witness first hand their manufacturing processes and their staff conditions. Additionally, they donate a portion of their profit to charities for the support and care of HIV positive children in Bali.
Now, this women fashion label is looking for a passionate hard-working intern. They are offering a graphic design internship for those with exceptional technical skills and some photography skills. They are looking for someone who can bring their own personality and that can work independently and multitask. Interns will be working next to creative fashion designer and will get hands on experience immediately as well as insight into many aspects of a fashion company including design and marketing.
