About the internship

This Indonesia’s number one mixed martial arts academy was established in 2014, and has since become a hotbed for international athletes, it provides Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Yoga, and Strength Conditioning Training.

Several interns wanted for a minimum of 8-12 weeks (up to 6 months) starting immediately. As part of the team, you will be required to plan, structure, and execute analysis-based strategic decisions. Several MBA-level frameworks and tools derived from the world’s leading consultants (e.g., McKinsey) and universities (Harvard, Wharton, Duke) will be utilized. Your team will also develop exciting strategies and dynamic tactics specific to the company’s needs including market segmentation, targeting, and digital marketing campaign. As the project is challenging, you will work and collaborate in a team of three selected from various backgrounds to provide diverse skills and approaches.

Your mentors are the key people who run the business with diverse backgrounds: gym’s director, professional athlete, business consultant, and a leading member of World Economic Forum. They come from different nationalities (US/German/Indonesian) with various academic backgrounds (Duke/UVirginia/ Wharton) to provide diverse and complementary views. To its clients, they are known as the #Balifamily due to its friendly and non-intimidating training environment.

The martial arts gym's combination of quality training and inclusiveness has landed them a spot in Fox Sports and One Championship’s top 10 MMA gyms. Their professional fight team works closely with the gym’s members to provide them with expert guidance as well as motivation and inspiration. Be part of the team through the internship program opening, the selected intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and a strong international network.

Intern’s work hours are flexible with fixed time for meetings and such. They also encourage (not compulsory) interns to attend their classes whether in Muay Thai, Yoga, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or Strength & Conditioning under the guidance of their world-class coaches and professional fighters.
